Press Association.—Copyright. Svdxev, September 4. Thie- Empire Postal Rifle Mulch was fired to-day, New South Wales, Victoria, New Zealand, Transvaal, Canada and England competed. The local team hied under most favourable weather conditions and scored 900, Victoria 890. Oversea results are expected to-morrow
Per Press Association. Wellington, September 4. Wellington Post and Telegraph Rifles fired to-day in a ten-man match against tho postal teams of London, Montreal. Natal, Melbourne and Sydney. The local men fired in heavy rain and compiled a total of 838 at 200, 500 and GOO, yards, seven shots at each range.
