THE KIA ORA WRECK.

lid Further Enquiry,

Per Pros-; Association. WiJLMNiri'ON, August 21. The evidence and finding of the Magisterial inquiry into the wreck of the Kin. Ora has been duly considered by the Marine Department, and it lias been decided that no further action will be taken. As the case had been thoroughly gone into by a competent Xuut-ieal Court at Auckland, and all available evidence had been heard, it was not considered possible by tho Department to glean anything likolv to throw fresh light upon circumstances associated with the wreck by holding another enquiry, nor was it deemed advisable to impose any penalty on anyone concerned if the Court had not done so.
