At a mooting of tlie Shooting Committee of Manchester Rifles last evening the following wore picked to fire against Kiinbolton-Chelton-ham Rifle Clubs on the 31st at Feildiug:—Captain Barltrop, Liouts. Pleasants and Domigan, 001.-Sorgt. Aiken, Scrgt. Fisher, Vols. Belk, Evans. Jacobson, Mayhew, Parker, L. Pleasants, and Stewart A letter was received from Captain Batten, of Royal Rifles, stating that lie noticed in the Advocate that the Manchester Rifles wore going to give groat encouragement to young shots during next season. In view of this ho asked Captain Barltrop to arrange a march between members of tho two corps who have not fired in first-class matches. The matter was left with Captain Barltrop to arrange.
