FIRE AT BULLS.

Our Bulls correspondent telephoned at at a late hour last evening that a fire at 8 o’clock totally destroyed two houses owned by Mrs Siddels and Mrs McGregor. The residents of the town turned out and rendered all assistance possible and succeeded in removing a. considerable quantity of furniture. Mr G. Butler, while assisting, was struck by some falling debris and was injured in the face and eye. Ho was taken to Palmerston Hospital shortly before eleven o’clock last evening. The amount of damage and the insurances are at present unknown.
