RONGOTEA TOWN BOARD.
At tho meeting of above last evening tho members present wore Messrs Penney (chairman), Wilson, aud Hiekford. Resolved that insurance on power house aud plant bo increased from £2OO to £2OO. Mr Wcchsung interviewed the Board relative to position of caretaker of electric plant/ Tho Postal Department advised that the amount of account for electric light had boon authorised. Mrs A. Cave’s application for refund of dog tax was held over. Messrs Penney and Wilson wore’dcputed to sign the rate hoolj. ‘ ' "A general rate of Id in the £ was struck. Mr Dawson, of Wellington, interviewed tho Bord relative to a scheme for private lighting, aud it was resolved to circulate printed forms to test the feeling of residents.
