Eaisuli declares that if tribesmen at the Sultan’s command attack him he will kill Mao Lean.
Reuter’s Tangier correspondent states that a messenger, who has returned from Raisuil’s camp, states that the Hakmass tribe arc. willing to surrender MacLeau, provided the Sultan personally proceeds to the country to pardon them, and excuse them from service in the Imperial army, and relieve them from taxes. The tribe refuse to deliver Raisuli, but guarantee his good behaviour if ho is pardoned and his property is returned.
