Feilding Market Report.
Messrs A. H. Atkinson and 00., Ltd., report:—There was a • good yarding of pigs for our sale on Friday and we had a good attendance of buyers. Prices are hardening. The usual entries of poultry and general produce came to handrfnd sold at late rates. Quotations : Pigs ; Stores 14s 6d, sows £3 to £4. try : Cockerels Is 2d to 2s, hens Is to 3s 7d, turkeys 4s fid to Os. Produce: Potatoes 7s to 9s 6d, pigs do. 3s, swedes 2s 6d, Nelson apples 2yd per lb by the case, bacon factory sides iyd, hams 7%d per lb.
