In sympathy with -London and American markets wheat has advanced, holders asking 4s. Sales are reported at 3s lOd to 3s lid j flour £9. There are similar advances in thn Melbourne and-Adelaide markets, Per Press Association, Tiitaku, July 2. The excitement on the local wheat market on Saturday now shows signs of quietening down. A line of prime velvet sold yesterday . morning at 4s 6d 03i trucks at Timaru. To-day one line of red chaff changed hands at 4s Gd on trucks' at Fairlie. Holders are now demanding 4s 6d, while buyers offer 4s 4d to 4s sd’ on trucks at Timaru. ■ ■ ! July 3. The wheat market has apparently eased back here to-day by 2d a bushel. Wheat sold liero during tho past fesy days at 4s Gd ex store, but this morning a lino offered at 4s S was refused. sbo position, however, is very uncertain, prices paid seeming to depend upon the circum stances in which different buyers are placed.
