An innovation in educational methods has been decided upon in connection with teachers at the training college at Wellington by organising a winter school for teachers from schools in outlying country districts. The seven education boards in what is known as the middle district were invitsd by the Committee of. Advice to nominate teachers for the three weeks cdurse of winter school beginning on the 23rd inst. It was stipulated that the teachers chosen should be the moat deserving and those who were least likely ti come into contact with city methods.
