NIGHTCAPS MINING DISASTER

Press Association. Invercargill, July 1. The adjourned Coroner’s enquiry in regard to the Nightcaps mining disaster was continued to-day, a strong bar representing the various parties. Medical evidence was to the effect that the men died from the action of white damp. Other evidence so far relates with minute details the happenings in the mine leading to the tragedies. Mr Solomon, K.C., representing the relatives of'deceased and the Miners’ Union, cross-examined witnesses searchingly.
