Drapery Slaughter. TheM.D.I.O. is busy opening up the drapery for Tuesday's sale and tiierefore the public will have an opportunity to inspect before purchasing. The goods have never been inside a shop and therefore are fresh and clean. Usually drapery sold by public auction is old and shopworn, but in this instance buyers can secure goods direct from the manufacturers . The Company intends to hold periodical sales and fully recognise the fact that unless goods are of high grade a profitable ■trade Cannot be built up. The Nottingham lace curtains always cause great excitement. • They are the best made, and r every pair is a picture. Tho sale begins on Tuesday next at 1.30, p.m.
