Two brothers named Groube, travelling from Longbusb to Carterton, had to abandon their gig l owing to tho impassable state, of thG roads. Tho floods are very bad down the Lower Valley. A message from Kahantam states that thh country is a sea of water. Traffic between Featberston and Martinborough is interrupted. The five works at the Waiugawa. and Waiobine arc holding splendidly.
