Per Press Association. Auckland, April 10. A private message has been received stating that tho Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross 'arrived at Norfolk Island at tyro yesterday afternoon. The steamer left Auckland on Friday last and experienced exceptionally heavy weather off the Three Kings, and the deck cargo of coal for consumption on the voyage had to be jettisoned.
