Messrs A. H. Atkinson and Co. report : —A fair entry of 100 pigs came for ward on Friday, ior nil foiwmd classes, there was good competition, but for weauers aud slips and inferior stores, prices showed a decline, A large entry of mostly inferior poultry came to hand. Prices dropped sharply The usual entry of produce sold at late lates. Potatoes showed slight improvement. Quotations;— Horses: Aged light harness £3 2s Ga to £4 15s. Pigs: Best weauers 8s Gd to 10s, inferior os 6d to 7s, good slips 13s to 13s, inferior 8s to 10s, small stores 9s to 13s Od, medium 15s to 335, forward 23s to 265, light porkers to 56s Cd, heavy to 81s. Poultry: Cockerels 3s to 3s 4d, inferior Is to Is (id, liens good 3s, others Is to 3s, purebred fowls os to 6s, ducks 3s, all per pair. Produce: Potatoes Gs Od per cwt, onions 9s 6d per .cwt, carrots Is 6d half sack, parsnips *s od half sack, cauliflowers Is 9cl halt sack, apples Id to l%d lb, quinces »<d to id per lb, rhubarb 3d bundle, tomatoes 2s half case, factory bacon, sides d, hams 7%d, rolled cu>, Gd per lb.'
