Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report At our Fetiding sale on Friday last we had a fair yarding of sheep, about 1000 coming forward. There was a good demand and we quitted the whole yarding. Quotations : —3-tooth v,-ethers late shorn, small, 13s Od; medium lambs 9s Id to 10s, woolly lambs 11s sd, cull lambs Cs 6d to 7s. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., report:—On the 26th nit., at Waverley, wo hold a sale of Clydesdales, on account of Mr Isaac Luptou who is relinquishing horse-breeding. There was a largo attendance of havers, including some from Waikato, and full values were realised j throughout the sale. Mares made up i to COM guineas and foals up to 37 guineas. At our tisiial fortnightly Wanganui sale on 3rd iust. we yarded over 850 head of cattle, 7000 sheep, aud 75 pigs. There was a fair inquiry for cattle, aud with the exception of a few pens of weauers and some fats, wo quitted the whole yarding. For sheep there was a better demand than at late sales, good lambs selling freely at advanced rates. A nice lino of woolly lambs (Romney cross) made 12s 7d under the hammer. Forward wethers were also well competed for.
