The United States-Great Northern Railway Co.'s steamer Dakota, bound from Seattle to Yokohama and Hongkong, is ashore in a bad position at Noshina Cape, Japan. The passengers were saved. The hull alone is insured for half a million, and the cargo for £50,000.
