Antonios, Metropolitan of St. Petersburg, appealed to members to forgot their differences and to work tor the welfare of their suffering country, _ Thrones in the streets greeted the delegates with s.boiits of "amnesty." The second Duma is p'onsidered younger, more democratic and less ■educated than tho first.
