The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable from their London house, dated 10th January ;—We think a rise is likely io take place in the following descriptions of wool: —Marino crossbred about 7% per cent. We quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow : —Fine mutton BVs, good beef 84s 3d, mixed 32s 9d ; market firm.
