MessrK Dalgcty and Co,, Ltd., held their usual fortnightly sale at Marton on Tuesday Bth inst. A fair yarding of sheep and a full yarding of cattle came forward. With the exception of one lino of bullocks on account of Manson’s Waituna estate, which caused keen competition, bidding was slack throughout the sale, due no doubt to the long spell of dry weather. Quotations: Forward 3-year-old bullocks £s los and £5 17s 6d, 2-ycar steers £2 ss, 15 months old steers £2 2s, fat heifers £•!, 2-tooth wethers (small) 13s 6d, mixed 2-tooths (small) 13s 3d, fat ewes 13s 6d and 18s 9d, aged ewesSs.
