It. Hamilton, H."l>e!l, l<\ Perkins and the secretary (Mr. .1. V. Dcane). Kpiir Auckland, iirnis submitted dsigns and it was decided to provisionailv accept Messrs. Parkinson and Company's, on condition that satisfactory 'specifications were t'orthcorning. The memorial will take the form of a gateway with a large pillow in centre, on which is a New Zealand soldier in uniform. The proposed gateway will be of satin marble, estimated to cost £445,
