LEAVE OF ABSENCE.

MANUREWA BOARD MEMBER. MR.TEGLER EULOGISED. , At the Manurewa Town Board meeting held last evening, Mr. Pcgloi'-ap-plied for nine months’ leave of absence as he wished to leave the Dominion as a member of the representative bowling team which is to tour Great Britain.

In granting the require! leave, members of the Board eulogised the work of Mr. Pcgler during his term of office. The chairman (Mr. Cor in) extended to him the hearty wishes of the Board for a pleasurable trip and a good time generally.

In. returning thanks, Mr. Pegler stated that it was liis intention while abroad to study town planning and education, and ho had an open letter from the Prime Minister which would materially assist him in this direction.
