Daysh is reported to have t sprung a "tendon." "Bob" McGough is tioubled r vvith one of his fetlocks. f Mayor Charlie Lawrie might y win the "cup" again. He has \-. dready won it twice.
Coroner R. Webster is putting in considerable hill work, and orospects of him leading the field home are bright. Charlie Clarke is under-'the care of the "vet," but is sure to oe well enough on the day to breast the tapes Mister Pulman is showing up well on the Buckland "try outs," and may succeed in pulling the event off. G. G. Littlejohn will carry a heavy burden, but will finish close to the ''Jack.'' Dune. Roulston will be hard to get away from the barrier but when he puts in his long "driving" stride, look out. " Jim " Roulston was recently " cast" in his box, but seems to have almost recovered. Herb. Bockett is one that may
'■'. create a surprise. :, "Hughie" Stuart has hardly 11 been in work long enough. !| "Father" is in good condition , and will see the distance cut, but - beware, he may bluff you at the f finish. I Frank Hubbard is a dark j horse. » Charles BonnerJ senr., is a - beautiful mover, and would be ' suiteol by a much longer distance. Hodgson Keith will be well ; looked after. He has been showi ing excellent form of late. "Joe" Adams is a flighty ' "colt," and will have to be run in winkers. I " Jack " Coady may run well, * but can hardly be expected to be * in the picture. ' "Tcd."Crum will be putting ]< some long ones in at the finish. J Walter Wright should time his t run well. f Bullock is in great condition, fc J aad is one of those greatly fan- c cied. He lias only to watch « j Butcher and the race is his. Once e !
