PUKEKOHE COURTHOUSE.

TO BE ERECTED IN BRICK. In connexion with the representations made by the Borough Council r.iul Chamber of Commerce to have the Pukekohe Courthouse erected in brick the following telegram has been received from the Prime Minister, Right lion. W. F. Massey, by each of the abovenamed local bodies:— "With further reference to your telegram re Courthouse, am advised bv Minister of Justice that through some mistake District Engineer, Auckland readvertised for tenders for building in wood, although plans for building in brick and specification? are in course of preparation by Public Works Department, but are not completed. Public Works Department has instructed District Engineer to withdraw advertisement. (Signed) W. F. Massey."
