WEDDING BELLS.

HIcWATT—HARVIE. A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. James' Presbyteriai Church yesterday, Rev. S. officiating, when Mr. James Leonard McWatt, third son of Mr. and Mrs.'R. McWatt, of Pukekohe, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Gertrude Alice Harvie, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvie of Matakana. The bride, who was given away by Mr. R. Eckley, of Pukekohe, an old friend of the bride's father, was becomingly attired in a' frock of white organdie, with embroidered and. finished ivory satin and pearls, while' she also wore a long, hand-em-broidered veil, and the orthodox wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a Jarge shower bouquet of roses, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. She •was* attended by her sister, Miss Esther G. Harvie, and Miss Maud A. McWatt, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaids, while the twin sisters of the bridegroom, Misses Ruby and Pearl McWatt. officiated as flower girls. The bridesmaids wore pale blue voile gowns, embroidered with salmon pink, and large picture hats, trimmed to match the dresses. They carried bouquets of pink sweet peas, carnations, and asparagus fern. The little flower girls wore white voile, trimmed with pale blue ribbons, and j hats to match, while both carried baskets of white roses, and ferns. Mr. Robert A. McWatt, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man, and Mr. H. B. Stevens, of Kaukapakapa, was groomsman. After the ceiemony a large number of guests partook of a sumptuous wedding repast at the Carnival Tearooms, where tho customary toasts were duly hon oured. The church was beautifully , decorated by friends of the bride. ' The path from the church was beau- ■ ti fully decorated by friends of the bride. The path from the church to ' the motor-car was strewn with rose] [ petals by the two little flower girls.! Subsequenly Mr. and Mrs. J.
