PUKEKOHE DEFEATS TUAKAU. THE CONQUEROR MATCH. The conqueror game between the Tuakuu and Kennclly and Daysh's billiard saloons eventuated at Pukekohe last night, when the home team proved victorious by 27 points. Puke kohe thus won the "ashes" by two matches to one. The scores arc as follows, Tuakau players being mentioned first in each case: E. McGahan, 200. beat S. Clews. 193; E. Ralph, 200, beat C. K. Lawric, 107; P. M. Keppel, 20". beat B, Clark, 16G; L. Hardcastle, 98, lost to J. J. Coady, 200; J. Mandcr, 151, lost to L. Short, 200: F. Gordon. 190, lost to W. Whitclaw, 200. Totals. Tuakau 1039, Pukekobe 1060. Pukekobe thus won by 27 points. After the match the visitors were. entertained. Mr. P. M. Keppel returned thanks on behalf of the visitors, while Mr. C. K. Lawric replied on Pukekobc's behalf.
