PROPOSED ATHLETIC CLUB.
Those interested in the formation of an athletic club in Pukckohc are requested by an advertisement in this Issue to attend a meeting to be held in the Borough Council Chambers on Tuesday, October 19. When such places as Tuakau. I'apakura, and Mauku can run most successful meetings there is absolutely no reason why a district the size of Pukekobe cannot run a monster athletic meeting, and make a financial success of it. One or two local sports have thought the matter over, hence the convening of a meeting for October 17,
