POLICE CHANGES

CONSTABLE THOMPSON OF TUAKAU TRANSFERRED.

Intimation has been received that Constable Bruce Thompson, who has been in charge of the Tuakau station, has been transferred to take charge of the Ellerslie station, and he will proceed to take up his new duties as soon as his work in connexion with the Pukekawa murder has been completed. Constable Holland, of Tokaanu, has been appointed to take charge of the Papakura station, vice ex-Constable A. Johnston, who has taken up farming. • The appointment to ' the Tuakau station has not yet been made.
