Rouiston, by default; H. Pattle v. J. PresCott, 6 up and 5 to play; W. Johns., v. H. Brosnahan, 1 up at 20th; E. Clirice v. by default; K. P. Hopsins v.3)r. Campbell-Smith, G up and ,5 to play; C. Bonner v. W. Bockett v. J. Russell, by default. Ladies.—Mrs. Bayly v. Miss Attenborrovv, 7 up and 6 to play; Miss Allan v. Miss Trotter, 1 up. Mrs. Rouiston v. Mrs Johns, 7 up and (5 to play; Mrs. Campbell-Smith v. Mrs. Pattle, 8 up and G to play; Mrs. Motion v. Miss McMullan, 3 up and 1 to play. The following is the draw for the second round:—
Men. L. Bayly v. W. P. Hopkins, 11. Pattle v. W. Johns, E. Clarke v. B. P. Hopkins, C. Bonner v. H. Bockett. Ladies.—Mrs. Bayly v. Miss Allan, Mrs. Rouiston v. Mrs. CampbellSmith, Mrs Motion, bye. Players are asked to hand their cards in to the secretary, or one of the committee, immediately after the match.
