The following team will represent Pukekohe ladies in their match against Mount Edene at the Domain, Pukekohe, to-morrow > .(Saturday), commencing at 2.30 p.m:— Goal, M. Berriman; fullbacks, N. Hawke, E. Cowan: half-backs, I. Duncan, D. Fallows, V. Oldham; forwards, E. Jeffares, M. Richards, D. Olphcrt, G. Corns, G. Clews. WAIAU PA, SHIELD MATCH.

On Saturday last the Waiau Pa hockey team went to Glenbrook to play ;the local team in a shield match. We are pleased to state that thoy returned home victorious, having beatten Glenbrook by 2 goals to 1. The fact is doubly significant when it is remembered that the opposing team included representative players, and that not one member of the Waiu Pa team was selected to play in the White Horse Cup competition. Glenbrook had the advantage on Saturday of having seven representative players in the team and a referee whom we venture to think was prejudiced in their favour. Failing the presence of an outside referee it was unfortunate for Waiau Pa that Mr. Mo Murtrie did not accompany the team. Owing to Pukekohe and Puni forfeiting their respective matches to Waiau Pa this was the final match for the shield, resulting in Glenbrook being first with 14 points, and Waiau Pa running second with 13 points. As a natural conclusion we think Waiau Pa is in good form, and well worthy of the consideration due to the team from the selectors next season.
