nua Falls for power to generate electricity, the branch urged upon the Manukau County Council to convene a conference of local bodies concerned for the purpose of discussing tthe matter. The Franklin County Council, Papakura and Manurewa Town Boards wrote supporting the proposal and agreeing to send delegates to a conference.

On the motion of Crs. Waters and Hattaway it was decided to call the delegates together on August 24 at - p.m. Cr. Waters and the chairman were appointed to represent the council at the conference,.
