NEW TELEPHONE RATES
STARTING AUGUST 1. As from August 1 ail telephone subscribers are to pay £1 additional per annum. The fees for bureau communications will be as follows: Up to 20 miles, "min, (id, each additional min. 2d: . r >o miles, 3min. !>d, each additional u;in. .'id; 75 miles, 3min. Is: each additional min. 4d: 100 miles, .'5 min. Is 6d, each additional min. 6d; 150 miles, 3min. 2s 3d, each additional min. 9d; 200 miles, 3min. 3s, each Additional min. Is. Subscribers speaking from their own telephones will be allowed half-rates up to 10 miles only.
