BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT
VETERINARY SURGEON. Since the departure from the district of Mr. Jas Costello, Pukekohe has been minus sie services of a veterinarian, much to the loss and inconvenience of stock ibjwners. - This want has now been b/;*i£i:3sr, H, Hankin (B.V.Sc., who has commenced practice in Dublin Street, Pukekohe. Until further notice, Mr. Hankin will be in daily attendance at Mr. H. Dell's saddlery shop, between 10 and 11 a.m. Mr. Hankin, who was on active service throughout the war, holds the rank of major in the Imperial Army, and served in Egypt and France. While in England Mr. Hankin passed a special course in cattle diseases at the Edinburgh College. Prior tq„ the war he was in practice at Marlborough. He returned to Australia with his unit, and then decided to come on to his native country, New Zealand. On landing here the chief Government veterinarian for Auckland Province strongly recommended him to start business in Pukekohe, where the services of a veterinarian are much in demand.
