SUCCESSFUL CLEARING SALE.
Pedigree stock.
On Wednesday last Messrs. AlfreH Buckland and Sons, Ltd., held a clearing sale oh behalf of Mr. W. King, Wellington Street, A'ukekohe. of pedigree and grade cattie. ,;Out of niiie lots of pedigree stock the top price realised, 117gns, was for a cow, Maori Nikau. Maori Wonder brought 115gns, Roseland's Palm 72gns, Maori Iris t>sgns, Maori Queen 36gns. Of the calves the highest price, ?ogns, was paid for Roseland's Nikau and Roseland's Princess. Roseland's ■ Millicent found a >iew owner at 50«ns, while Roseland's Prince reThe nine lots realised C22gns, af. average of about .£72 12s, which must be considered highly satisfactory. This is the second important disposal sale held recently in this district at which big prices have paid for stock, and good sales effect-' ed.
