LYCEUM PICTURES. The star attraction for to-morrow (Wednesday) night's screening is a first National attraction entitled "A Midnight Romance.." and starring Aniita Stewart with Jack Holt playing opposite. The story is of Marie, the mystery girl from nowhere, and a midnight bathing-suit flirtation and where it led two lovers. The story is by Marion Orth, and the play is diiected by Lois Weber, with Anita Stewart tthe star.

"THE ROTTERS." PREMIER HALL, MONDAY, MAY 17 A highly successful London play is Deing presented for the first time in New Zealand. "The Rotters" will be introduced on Monday evening next, May 17. This is described as the most laughable comedy witnessed for many years. It was first staged inLondon four years ago, and has been revived three times with overwhelming success. The plot has to do with the ramily of an illiterate self-made man who desires the outer world to believe he and the members of his household are eminently respectable. There are a number of disillusionments of a vastly amusing character. Prices: ss, 3s and 2s (plus tax). The box plan is on view at The Bookery.
