MANUREWA LOAN PROPOSALS
COMPREHENSIVE ROADING SCHEME. PURIRI PUBLIC PARK. , £IO,OOO REQUIRED. Manurewa is making a bold bid for the improvement of the town, which hus great natural advantages as a residential area. Last evening the Manurewa Town Board discussed the matter of a loan in order to attend to the various roads in the district. On the motion of the chairman, it was decided to take immediate steps to raise £BOOO, the mdney to be alio* cated to the various roads as follows:—Russell Road £ISOO, Miutsey Road £IOOO, Hill Road £6OO, Claud and Arthur Roads £SOO, Lupton's Road £225, Coxhead Road £IOO, Scott's Road £IOO, Valley Road £750, Weymouth Road £IOOO, Reserve Road £65, Brown's Road £IOO, Oram's Road 160, Great South Road £2OOO, Station Road £IOO. 'Total, £BOOO. In it was decided to inuke a|pkation for Government subsidies. Recreation Ground and Park. It wis also decided to take steps to raise a loan of £2OOO for the acquirement of - Puriri Park, and Mr. Jpedding's property.
