The death occurred on Tuesday of Rev. R Barr, formerly Presbyterian minister at Waiuku n* his residence, "Allendale" ■'> Dexter Avenue, Dominion Road, Auckland, aged 07. Tho Rev. Barr was a minister of the stotliug old type, deeply vesed in theology and possessing a most kindly aud sympathetic nature, which latter quality is also possessed by his widow and family, and made the household at the Waiuku manse very popular and highly respected. General sympathy is felt in Waiuku and district for the bereaved widow and family.
