Mass.y, M.P. h r Franklin, was held in the Masonic I bill last evening Representatives were present from all parts of the outlying districts. The Chair man of the Franklin County Council, Mr W. Claud Motion, presided, and outlined the objects of tho meet-
ing. Eventually, Mr 11. E R L Wily moved " That in view of the short time before the election, and the vital importance of the Prime Minister being freed to speak in other parts of the Dominion, that this mooting advises him to spend no mote time in Franklin than is absolutely necessary. Mr Shipherd seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously Mr A. !'
