ONEWHERO.

iNFANT'S DEATH. The death occurred at Onewhero suddenly on Monday last of Alfred Lees, infant son of Mr W. and Mrs Christiana Lees, well-known residents of Onowhero. The little one, who was about 21 months of age, appeared to be suffering from the effects of teething and the required medicine in such cases was administered, but the child showed no improvement and passed away as above stated. An inijuest was held beforo Mr Dyuos Fulton J.P., and a jury of four. Dr Wake, of Pukekoho, conducted a post mortem examination which revealed that the child died from intussusception, causing stoppage of the bowels. The jury returned a verdict accordingly.
