EXTENSION OF ELECTRIC MAINS
Waiuku Application Messrs McEwen and Hitton, of Waiuku, applied to the Franklin County Council yesterday for permission to extend the electric mains to anywhere within a radius of five miles of the Waiuku To»vn District. Cr W. Claud Motion (chairman) said he had discussed the matter with the above parties, and asked them to submit a scheme of their works, and an agreement that a public board should be entitled to take over the works at any time.— Application formally approved of, provided terms of agreement are satisfactory. *
