ABOUT DOGS.
The usual sitting of the Pap»kura Magistrate's C>uri was held before Mr F. K Hunt, B.M, yesterday. Wm. Horn, was change! w.th keeping a dog, of a greater age than six months, for a period of 14 days, without registering same. He was further charge 1 with keep'ig a black cattle dog. wh<'ch alheke I and bit, Miss Eva Adam*.
Defendant, who did not appear, was repmentcl by Y 'smother, who stated that her son, wbo had re turned from the front, was employe 1 on the Po3t rid Telegraph Staff, and had recently been transferred t) Hamilbr. She admittsd the dog had not been registerel. It had been 1c oked after by her younger son. Sergt. Cowan siid the dog had bit Mi« 3 Adams in Edinburgh Street, on September 16th Since then, the dog had been destroyed. rf is Worship said as the dog had been desi 'oyed, he would deal leniently with the case. He convicted and ordered defendant to pay Ts couri costs, on each charge
