Mt Eden 8 v Pukekohe 2 A team of hockey players, repre • senting Mount Eden Club journeyed here on Saturday to play a Pukekoke team. The visitors proved the better team by far, and loft the field victors by IS goals to 2. The first half was very evenly contested, Pukekohe scoring two goals in the first 10 minutes. At half time the score was 2 all. The visitors took things into their own hands in the second spell, and notched six more goals. Mr F. Stembridge capably controlled the game.

LADIES' MATCH

Arawa 2 v. Pukekohe 0,

The Arawa Ladies' Hockey Club played Pukekohe here on Saturday and won by two goals to nil. The visitors were entertained at the Carnival tea 1001119, and afterwards at a dance in the Oddfellows' flail.
