Very Little Support. The following "plain talk" is taken from a report submitted to the Franklm A. and P. Society by its secretary, Mr D. R. Hamilton : During the last six weeks wo have been busy preparing u roll of residents living in the immediate neighbourh Kid. While claiming our area as extended from coast to const as far north as Papakma and as fur sou h as To Kauwata. Wo have only pre pared our list as from I\i|>akura to Mercer. In this area wo liul there aie 1,787 men who ara entitled to vote, hut not one of this 1,787 is a mumb' r. In the same area wo have 569 membeis of whom about 4l)«l are financial That is, not 2"> per Ccint of the residents in this ana are financial members. When w • cm si lor that our show is really the Lower Waikato Show and not tho Pukekohe or ove.i the Franklin S ■«>* it is appalling.
