The other evening about forty residents and friends met at Mr J. Landon's for the purpose of fareweliing Mr and Mrs Landon, who, having sold their propei ty are leaving thu district. Johns, in presenting Mr Landon with a travel-W-i»g bag, and Mrs Landon with a hand bag referred to their long residence in the district, and the high estoem in which they were held, and wished them all good fortune and prosperity wherever else they elected to reside.
