Another illustration of the worth of the Onewhero land for she<-p breeding purposes, wa9 strikingly demonstrated at shearing time, the fleece from Mr Pellow's sheep realising top prices frr the district at the wool sales. The weight of fleeces from his two tooth hoggets in some cases reached loibs, while from a line of 150 hoggets the average weight of the fleeco was 101b*, for which Mr Pellow received 15Ad per lb. In the case of his ewes, the same owner's clip fetched 15} d per lb. The sheop are of the RomueyLinoln cross, and 'ire an exceptionally fine lot
