CLEVEDON STORE BURNT.

By a fire that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning the premises known as the Clevedon Store, in the occupation of Mr G. Nigro and previously tenanted by Messrs Holliday and Holloway, were completely destroyed. The shop, the unoccupied dwelling-house attached to it, the bakehouse and outbuildings, all perished in the flames, together whh the Clevedon telephone exchange and its equip ment The disruption of the telephone service affjjpte- some 90 subscribers. The origin of the fire is unknown. The deslroyed buildings were insured with the Royal luiur ance Company for JESOO, ani the Northern Assurance Company fir £IOO The stock was insured for £llOO with the Northern Assurance Company
