DIED OF WOUNDS Alexander, Roy Leslie (Chief Motor Mechanic K.N ), August '2lst -T. A.'Alexander, Fast Tamaki and late of Rama Rama 'father 1 )

Information was yesterday received by Mr T. A Alexander, of East Tamaki aud late of Rama Rama, that his eldest son, Roy Leslie Alexander, died on the 21st inst. in a hospital in Englanl from wounds sustained in the Zeelrugge naval raid in April last The deceased, who was 21 years of age, held the rank of chi. f motor mechanic in the Royal Navy Mo'or Patrol Service. Prior to leaving New Zealand towards the end of 191(3 on joining the Navy he served as an apprentice to the marine engineering trade with Messrs A. and T. Burt, Ltd.
