FLAT BUSH.

SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. Sunday School anniversary services were held at the Flat Bush Methodist Church on Sunday, March 24th, in the presence of large congregations. The Rev W. G. Slade preached in the morning and Mr Hunter, of Otahuhu, in the evening. Selections were rendered by the choir and children and solos by the Misses Hazel Green and Jeanie Archibald and Master Archibald, Mr D. Archibald presiding at the organ. On the following Wednesday evening the anniversary was further celebrated, the Rev Slade presiding. Recitations were contributed by Miss Daisy Stancombe, Miss Maggie Knapping, and Master Leslie Wood whilst a dialogue was given by Masters John Archibald, Selwyn Hammond, Charles Archibald, and Leslie Hammond, a duet by Mrs Thorburn and Mrs Bellingham, and vocal items by Misses Hazel and Ethel Green (duet), Miss Jeanie Archiband and Master Charles Archibald, selections by the choir and an organ selection by Mr D. Archibald, jnr., completed the programme. A report of the working of the Sunday School was submitted by Mr McCowen and the prizes J were presented. •
