A very successful and. woll attended Red Cross Toy Gift afternoon and evening, organised by Mrs Balme, was held on January !»th at her residence at Bombay and the proceeds through her efforts realised about £G in coin find gifts. The same is to go towards furnishing a toy stall at the Bombay bazaar, which is.to be held in March next. An en joyable programme of songs, recitations, musical items, games, aud guessing competitions was carried out and at the close of the proceedings three cheers were given for Mrs Balme, who suitably responded.
