At the last monthly meeting of the Aki Aka Drainage Board Mr Or G. Hull brought up the matter of a dredge fur tho Aka Aka creek, be low the cheese factory bridge. He thought the majority of the ratepavers w mid sanction a loan for that purpose, as the creek was getting bevond manual labour to clean out. After discussion, it whs agreed tha the lerk should write to Mr J. 1\ Thotapvi!, Government engineer, an i lied out on what date he is coming to tho district. The Board would th-n meet him and gather all the information about dredges they eould from him.
