PAPATOETOE HOWLING CLUB A match was played on Wednesday last between the Auckland executive team (who are competing in the Dominion Tournament) and a local four, the game resulting in a substantial win for the visitors The scores were: Executive: T. 0. Mordon, A. Bryden, J. Coultman and Sneddon 23; Papatoetoe: Bryant, Bradstreet, Hall, and Daisley 11. Otber gemes resulted as follows : Dilworth and Cutforth 21, v McCullough and Galloway 18; Swaffield, Western and Rawnsley 22, v Timewell, Gane and Death 18 ; Bryant, Knight, Reid and Spencer 1(3, v Ash ton, Gladding, Hodgson and V. Casey 15. The Annual Concert in connection with the Papatoetoe Methodist Church will he held in the Methodist Hall on Tuesdmy, December 4th, at 8 p.m.— (Advt.) On Sunday next the Anniversary Services of the Papatoetoe Methodist Church will be held, when the Rev J. F. Martin, of Pukekohe, will preach morning, afternoon and evening. Sergt. J. L. Farnsworth, of the Auckland Mounted Rifles, who was twice wounded during the righting in Palestine, has cabled to his father, Mr H. Farnsworth, of Wentworth Avenue, stating that he is new convalescent
